Guiakhembi("Behind the mountain") Beach

Located on the south face of the island, facing the Atlantic Ocean. Excellent for waves fans, because at high tides, when the water rises, very beautiful waves rise to GuiaKhembi, meaning in French Behind the Mountain.
The panorama of the terrace of Villa Elijah faces this beach.
I like to come and bathe at GuiaKhembi in the morning around 9:00.
What a dream !
Few people, not too hot, the water, the waves, the spray make me revive every day.

Gouvernor's Beach

This beach bears the name of the former General Governor of the A.O.F because in fact, this one, used to come to rest in his hut built on the edge of the bush and the beach, where now is places the Sogué hotel.

Pokia's Beach, Lagoon side

This beach is located on the north face of the island, it discovers a gigantic sandbank at low tide. On which the "Galion" of the book of Stevenson, The Treasure Island has sunk.
The water is very calm, but the currents are still strong at the point of the beach.

Beautiful view of the bay, with its harbor, and the small island called Souridi by the Roomkas.
This island is a legend. A few years ago, the pilgrims still came there, making sacrifices before going to make their pilgrimage to the Mecca in Saudi Arabia. But this tradition unfortunately did not last.
