First of all :
Guinean Embassy will ask you for an invitation letter or Hotel booking for enter in Guinea.
For that, from the moment you decide to book at Villa Elijah's Guesthouse and we will have received a deposit of 50% of
the price of your stay, we will provide you an invitation letter.
This one engages our responsibility on everything that could happen to you in Guinea.
PASSPORT & VISA :
You need a Biometric valid Passport.
Visa will be deliver if you give to the embassy an invitation letter, so we will provide it to you.
Consider also providing personal insurance such as sickness / repatriation, in case your insurance does not take care of you abroad. Check !!

Anti-malarial treatment, such as lariam, coartem, malarone, to combat malaria in Guinea, with more risk during the rainy season.
But fortunately, Roume island enjoys a favorable climate, very different from the continent, thanks to the winds, mosquitoes are rare, except during the rain season.
EBOLA :
The outbreak of EBOLA has been dismantled by the W.H.O in early 2016.
For those who still worry, there have never been cases of EBOLA in the Loos Islands !!
This epidemic spread to the far end of Guinea Forestiere on the border of Sierra Leone and Liberia and moved
closer to Conakry because of the sick who came to seek treatment there. But never in the islands.
So there is really no chance that between your reception at the Airport and your arrival in the islands you
treat in contact with a patient reached of Ebola.
ADVICES
Provide repellents against mosquitoes, in spite of the fact that the mosquitoes are almost non-existent at
Villa Elijah's, because it is located on the top of a hill near the ocean and exposed to the winds of the Atlantic Ocean
24/24h.
Provide usual travel medications (paracetamol, antimalarial, disinfectants, antidiarrheals, ...).
And of course, sun cream and after sun cream as you are at the beach and the sun is very hot.
