SPEARFISHING TIPS

Spearfishing Tips at Guinea Fishing Camp

SPEARGUNS :
I would recommend a Rob Allen Aluminum or Carbon 130 with double sails and 7mm boom with 2mm nylon wire, without buoy reel, with detachable tip arrow.
In wooden gun, for example, at Teak Sea, the range Pal 110 or 120 always skyrocketed 7mm and double sails without reel.
At the villa we provide ropes and buoys adapted to the depth of the wreck and the hunt.
The buoy is connected to the rope and directly to the rifle butt. It holds well, the grip is comfortable, up to 40kg it passes very well.
Offshore, offshore, the fish are bigger, I'll point you to a Azimuth 120 or Azimuth T8 in the Teak Sea range or equivalent. With nylon wire 2mm to 2.5mm diameter, with rigid buoy, bungie and flotline.

DIVING FINS :
There is a lot of current, rigid plastic fins are not recommended because of muscular tiredness.
I would like to refer you to the range CARBON from Immersion, Cressi, Beuchat, H Dessault or equivalent, but extreme caution, you have to be very vigilant.

WETSUIT :
A 1mm, 1,5mm or 2mm flexible wetsuit. the water is hot, about always 32°.

ARROWS :
Provide 5 arrows per person with detachable tip with 180/100 Nylon and sleeves in 2mm.
